If you have been following me for awhile, you know I like to eat pretty healthy. I feel better; my skin stays clear; and I am more confident when I am eating clean diet. I like to keep my ratio of 80/20. I eat clean 80% of the time and eat basically what I want 20% of the time. I am a true believer in this "rule". It is SO easy to fall off the wagon when you are restricting yourself too much. I am in no way a dietician or a nutritionist. This is just how I do things. I always get asked what my favorite healthy snacks are. So, I thought I would make a blog post for you guys to go back and reference from time to time.
1. A Serving of Raw Almonds
2. String Cheese
3. 100 Calories Guac with Chips
4. RX Bar
(peanut butter chocolate is my fav)
I like to heat mine up in the microwave for about 7-10 seconds. The chocolate chip cookie dough is my absolute favorite. This is technically my dessert during the week. It really satisfies my sweet tooth.
6. Boom Chicka Pop
(one of my favorite flavors is the white cheddar)
7. Boiled Eggs
8. Apples and Peanut Butter
9. Bada Bean Snacks
(I tried these at work once and was addicted. They are broad beans, which are high in protein and fiber. They come in SO many flavors too.)
10.Hummus and Pretzels
